Vote in the Board Election by October 10 – Amendment to the bylaws

The PRO Mid Atlantic Board of Directors has approved a bylaws amendment to allow all current Board Members to extend their term by 6 months to provide consistent leadership throughout the 2023 calendar year. This unique circumstance was caused by the formation of our new organization mid-year in July of 2021. Without this amendment, the current Board would have to be replaced mid-year to honor the current 2 year term limit.  See the current PRO Board of Directors here.

The amendment reads:

Inasmuch as PRO Mid Atlantic was formed and the Board elected mid-year 2021, this Board will serve 2 ½ years rather than 2 years, but thereafter, a director’s term shall be for 2 years commencing on January 1, 2024.  

This amendment must now be ratified by the general membership. This vote will be conducted electronically.
